0917: A Tiny Hiatus

I will be taking a small break from blogging for a few weeks. I'm making a few changes to my life and just need to focus. I'm sure there will be a few sporadic posts here and there as I come across quotes, news or photos I need to share but I highly anticipate none of those things will have anything to do with fashion. I hope you all will bear with me.

0914: What I Wore for Fashion Week

Here are the only photos of my outfits during MBFW in NY these past few days. I don't know how anyone stays for the whole week because fashion week is neither fun nor glamorous - it's exhausting. I saw Christian Siriano the first day and said a quick hello to my old boss. Didn't really want to see any others. Jason of Citizen Couture snapped my photo for Harper's Bazaar that day. The second photo is from Chictopia 10 at the ModCloth photo station.

All I can say for now is that I'm in desperate need of visiting New York when I'm not working. It's a much different experience, I'm sure, to see the city without crying on the train.

0908: A Day for Love

One of my best friends is getting married next March, so we spent Tuesday getting fitted for bridesmaid dresses and eating dinner in Downtown. I'm learning all you need in life is people to love.

Spent Labor Day at the beach getting some sun with my best friends. Got rained on and loved it. Trekked over to Sonny's - the best barbecue EVER - to end the day with amazing num nums.

0905: Happy

I'm home in Florida for five days and I'm the happiest girl in the world right now. I've truthfully been rather down in the dumps and stressed for the past few months (hence, no inclination to blog) and for the first time in a really long time, life feels perfect. Spent today barbecuing at the pool with pretty much my whole entire family and I don't know that I've been this content in awhile. I want to stay here forever.
